Introduction

UpdxlrLog v1 is a Log Viewer for the famous "Update Accelerator" Addon (site here). The log viewer allow to show, filter and sort the entry of the cache.log Update Accelerator file.

Installation

Download the tar archive
IMPORTANT! verify that the Update Accelerator addons is already installed on the system!
Copy the tar archive via SCP to your IPCop box. Windows users can use WinSCP for this. Keep in mind that SSH must be enabled and you will have to use port 222 instead of 22.
Login as root on the console or via SSH. Windows users can use PuTTY for this.
chdir to the place where you put the archive
Extract the tar archive with the command:
- tar -xvzf ipcop-updxlrlog-1.0.0.tgz
Install UpdxlrLog addon with the command:

./ipcop-updxlrlog-1.0.0/install

Uninstall

Login as root on the console or via SSH. Windows users can use PuTTY for this.
chdir to the place where you extract the archive (/ipcop-updxlrlog-1.0.0)
Uninstall Updxlrlog addon with the command:

./uninstall

How long does it take to generate a report?

Depending on the size of the log files, the selected report options and the speed of your CPU, it will usually take very short time for generating a report.

It doesn't modify any firewall rules.
It doesn't establish connections to external sites.
It doesn't install additional services.
